Keeping Us Safe

Psalm 91:4
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

It’s deeply reassuring to know we are never alone in this world, especially in these times that are very challenging. The promise of divine protection in Psalm 91:1 offers profound comfort and security. When we choose to live in obedience to God’s Word and align with His will, we find refuge under the shadow of His wings. By making the Lord our dwelling place, we can trust that no evil will come upon us, and no plague will approach our homes (Psalm 91:9-10). This promise extends to all who seek shelter in the Lord’s presence.

With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are led to a place of safety where God’s angels stand guard as Jehovah Sabaoth, our Great Protector. By accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we invite God’s protection into every part of our lives. It is through this act of faith that we find true safety and security under His outstretched arms. May we take comfort in knowing that, as we dwell in His presence, God keeps us safe and shields us from harm.

Father God,

In times of uncertainty and fear, we hold fast to the truth that we are never alone in this battle. Our faith in You, our Defender, fills us with strength and provides the protection we need to face every challenge. As we draw closer to You, our source of safety and refuge, we find rest in the assurance that we are shielded from the enemy’s attacks.

Help us to remember that our struggles are not merely physical but spiritual in nature, and in embracing this truth, we equip ourselves with a powerful defense against fear and doubt. Empower us to find comfort in the knowledge that divine protection surrounds us always. With unwavering trust in You, Almighty God, we move through life’s trials, knowing Your angels guard us, shielding us from dangers unseen.

In the shadow of Your love and beneath the shelter of Your wings, we find courage, strength, and above all, peace. We lift our voices in praise to You, Jehovah, for in Your presence, we discover true security.
