God With Us

One of the most powerful compliments I’ve ever received came while doing jail ministry. I was sitting at one end of the table, and an inmate sat at the other. I noticed how intently she was watching me, so I asked if everything was okay. With tears in her eyes, she replied, “I see the Spirit of God all over you.”

In that moment, I felt undeniable confirmation that God’s presence was with us. From that day forward, she never missed a session. I continue to pray that she, along with all the others, received the seeds that were planted and that their lives were transformed for the better.
